Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has described President Bola Tinubu’s promises to Nigerians as a “Yahoo Yahoo” promise, labeling the President as fake.

That is a Yahoo Yahoo promise. It is a deceptive tactic designed to hoodwink the populace while the administration continues to implement policies that inflict severe hardship on the citizens.

Atiku made these remarks while reacting to President Tinubu’s 66th Independence Anniversary address, where the President spoke on the state of the nation and his administration’s economic trajectory.

The former Vice President further criticized the current administration for what he termed as a lack of sincerity in governance, arguing that the economic reforms introduced by the Tinubu-led government have failed to yield the promised prosperity for the average Nigerian.
