Former Minister of Transportation and presidential hopeful, Rotimi Amaechi, has publicly questioned the source of wealth of Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following recent reports of his lavish spending and political activities.

He is throwing money around as if it is going out of style. Where is a young man who has no known business empire getting such massive funds to influence political discourse and support his father’s administration?

Amaechi, who has been a vocal critic of the current administration, suggested that the display of opulence by the President’s son is an insult to the millions of Nigerians currently grappling with severe economic hardship and inflation.

The former Rivers State Governor further challenged the anti-corruption agencies to investigate the financial activities of individuals close to the presidency, noting that the current administration’s ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda seems to be benefiting only a select few.
