October 1: Why Can’t You Cure Her – Atiku Slams Tinubu for Calling Nigeria Cancer Patient

The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar, has slammed President Bola Tinubu for describing Nigeria as a cancer patient.

Speaking during a world press conference on Thursday in Abuja, Atiku asked why Tinubu has not cured Nigeria in the three years of his administration.

Recall that President Tinubu, in his Independence Day address, had likened the economic challenges facing the country to a cancer patient, stating that the nation is undergoing a painful but necessary treatment to recover.

Why can’t you cure her? If you have identified that the patient is suffering from cancer, why have you not been able to provide the cure in three years?

Atiku further criticized the administration’s handling of the economy, arguing that the policies implemented have only worsened the plight of ordinary Nigerians rather than providing the promised relief.
