‘Tinubu Has Been Doing Wickedness Instead Of Governace’ – Atiku’s Aide Faults Alake
The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, recently explained why President Bola Tinubu would not visit all states for campaign activities, stating that the President is prioritizing governance. Speaking during the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja, Alake noted that the President had selected 12 states to visit because they are “election deciders.”
The 12 states that President Tinubu chose to campaign in are actually election deciders; he should be commended for that. He is not going to abandon governance for campaigning.
Reacting to these remarks via his X handle, Demola Olarewaju, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, faulted Alake’s position. Olarewaju insisted that President Tinubu has no significant achievements to campaign on and is merely pretending to be busy with governance.
Bola Tinubu has been doing politics and wickedness since Day One instead of good governance, he was wooing Governors instead.
Olarewaju further criticized the administration, stating, “Now time for campaign, but no achievement to campaign with. Instead, they want to pretend he’s too busy with governance.”
