2027: Ndigbo group banks on grassroots mobilisation for Tinubu
The Ndigbo for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 Forum has said sustained grassroots mobilisation can significantly improve President Bola Tinubu’s electoral prospects in the South-East ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The group also commended Tinubu for meeting with the City Boys Movement, describing the engagement as a positive step towards strengthening grassroots mobilisation and expanding his political reach ahead of the election.
NDI-ABAT expressed confidence that Tinubu could break the All Progressives Congress’ longstanding challenges in the region by focusing on direct engagement with voters at the local level.
According to NDI-ABAT, the forthcoming election provides Tinubu with an opportunity to challenge established voting patterns and compete more decisively for support across the five states of the South-East.
The group emphasized that it has prepared a comprehensive political plan that focuses on working with people at the grassroots, with specific attention given to senatorial districts, local government areas, and polling units to build broader support for the President.
