Shettima Credits Tinubu With Saving Nigeria From Economic Collapse
Vice President Kashim Shettima has credited President Bola Tinubu with pulling Nigeria back from the brink of economic collapse, defending the administration’s controversial reforms as painful but necessary decisions that saved the country.
Shettima spoke in Lagos on Saturday after meeting the President at his residence, following Tinubu’s return from an extended stay abroad.
He said the two leaders had stayed in close contact throughout the trip, speaking almost every other day and keeping the President updated on developments at home.
