The king of Ara community, Osun State, Olubayo Adesola, spoke on the hardship experienced by residents, saying that they are yet to feel the impact of the state government in their community, despite participating in elections and other civic activities. He lament poor electricity supply and inadequate infrastructure, saying the community continues to lag behind in development.
The traditional ruler also raised concerns about the state of basic services in the community, noting that although there is a school, there are no teachers to teach the pupils. Residents also said the local medical facility is inadequate, as they continue to struggle to access essential healthcare.
