2027: We’ll Campaign On Tinubu’s Achievements, Not Insults – Yari

The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Abdulaziz Yari, has declared that the party’s sole objective ahead of the January 16, 2027, presidential election is to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Yari made the declaration on Wednesday in Abuja while delivering his acceptance speech following the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council by Tinubu.

He urged members of the council to set aside personal interests and work collectively towards securing a second term for the President.

It’s no time for ego. We are all one in this business. We have only one agenda. What is that agenda? To ensure that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns as President.

Yari assured Tinubu that the campaign council would work together to achieve its objective, expressing confidence that the team would deliver on the assignment.

He said the campaign would focus on communicating the administration’s achievements and future plans to Nigerians, particularly its impact on ordinary citizens.

The former Zamfara State governor commended Tinubu for what he described as achievements in infrastructure development and efforts to improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

He said the campaign would seek support at polling units, wards, local government areas and state levels, stressing that the assignment required collective effort and commitment.
