Vacation: Tinubu Has Shown Nigerians That He Prefers Leaving Nigeria On ‘Auto Pilot’ — ADC Chieftain
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ladan Salihu, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s prolonged stay in Europe, accusing him of leaving Nigeria on “auto pilot” while away from the country.
Salihu, a former Director-General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, made this known during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday.
The President has shown Nigerians that he prefers leaving Nigeria on auto pilot. He has shown that he is more comfortable in Europe than in Nigeria.
He argued that the President’s extended vacation, which lasted for four weeks, was insensitive given the current economic challenges facing the country.
Salihu further stated that the President’s absence had created a leadership vacuum, which he claimed was affecting the governance of the nation.
