‘Tinubu Hasn’t Committed Any Offence’ – Jimoh Ibrahim Defends President’s Four-Week Vacation
Senator Jimoh Ibrahim has defended President Bola Tinubu’s extended four-week vacation, asserting that the President has not committed any constitutional offence by staying away from the country for that duration.
The President is entitled to his annual leave, and extending it by a few days does not constitute a breach of the law or any constitutional provision. He remains in charge of the country’s affairs regardless of his physical location.
Ibrahim emphasized that the President continues to perform his duties effectively and that the concerns raised by some political figures regarding the duration of his absence are unnecessary. He maintained that the administration is functioning smoothly and that there is no vacuum in leadership.
