A spinal cord injury survivor and graphic artist recounts how his health struggles began in 2004 after he suddenly developed weakness while trying to run and fell several times. He said his family initially sought traditional treatment before he was taken to a hospital, where he was diagnosed with tuberculosis and became paralysed, ending his dream of becoming a pilot. Now living with a spinal cord injury and using a wheelchair, he has built a life as a graphic artist, gotten married and remained independent despite his condition. He says doctors have told him his condition can be treated and is appealing for financial assistance to access treatment and work towards regaining the use of his legs.
