Tinubu spoke on Thursday at the State House in Abuja while receiving the credentials of the new ambassadors of the Republic of Ireland, the Kingdom of Sweden, and the Republic of Finland.

Nigeria is committed to playing a leading role in Africa. We will continue to work with our partners to ensure that the continent remains stable, peaceful, and prosperous for all its citizens.

The president noted that Nigeria’s foreign policy is anchored on the promotion of African interests, adding that the country would continue to champion initiatives that enhance regional integration and trade.

He also highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations with other nations to address global challenges such as climate change, food security, and economic development.
