Wike Reveals When He Could Quit Tinubu’s Cabinet

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared that he will resign from his ministerial position if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu loses the 2027 presidential election in both the FCT and Rivers State.

Wike made the declaration on Wednesday during an engagement with the leadership and members of the Apo Mechanics and Traders Association in Abuja.

According to Wike, if Tinubu fails to secure victory in the two territories, he will formally announce his resignation on January 17, 2027.

If I lose FCT, I’m not supposed to be FCT Minister.
