Oyebanji, PDP’s Oluyede Launch Joint Mobilisation for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election in Ekiti
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the June 20, 2026 election, Dr. Wole Oluyede, have closed ranks to ensure a massive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The two political leaders, who were rivals in the recent governorship contest, met in Lagos to reaffirm their commitment to the progress of Ekiti State and the re-election of President Tinubu.
Dr. Oluyede, who recently announced his decision to work for the President’s re-election, emphasized that his commitment must go beyond public declarations and translate into concrete grassroots mobilisation.
Our target is clear. We want Ekiti to give Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 90 per cent. We are going to work for it.
Governor Oyebanji praised Dr. Oluyede for his act of statesmanship and his dedication to both the development of Ekiti State and national progress.
Dr. Oluyede has also unveiled a platform, the Oluyede Progressive Alliance for Renewed Hope Agenda, designed to champion consultations among leadership and members of different political parties in the state to deepen grassroots support for the President.
