Davido, who has been openly supporting the Accord Party in the election, made the allegation in an alert post on his X account on Saturday as voting and result processing continued across the state.

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, known as Davido, has raised concerns over the conduct of some polling officials in the ongoing Osun State governorship election, alleging that some Presiding Officers (POs) intend to enter results only at collation centres.

Davido, who has been openly supporting the Accord Party in the election, made the allegation in an alert post on his X account on Saturday as voting and result processing continued across the state.

The singer urged Accord Party supporters and voters to ensure that results are properly recorded at polling units, signed, and uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Result Viewing (IReV) portal.

“It is being reported that some POs are saying they will only input results at the collation center,” Davido wrote.

“All Accord supporters and voters should ensure the results are filled into the form EC8A, signed, and uploaded to the iRev.”

He warned, “Insist on your right!!!! Call your staff to orderrrrrrrrrr @inecnigeria. Federal might will fail here.”

His warning comes amid heightened scrutiny of the electoral process in Osun, with reports of technical challenges, allegations of vote-buying, intimidation of voters, polling agents, and journalists, and concerns over the conduct of some polling officials and political actors.

The 2026 Osun governorship election is being closely watched, with incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party seeking another term against his major challengers, including Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Davido, a nephew of Governor Adeleke, has in recent days repeatedly intervened publicly in the election, raising concerns about alleged intimidation and other threats against Accord supporters.

SaharaReporters earlier reported that Davido raised the alarm over an alleged plan to arrest Accord Party members ahead of the election, urging supporters to remain vigilant.

The singer had also called on international actors, including President Donald Trump of the United States of America, to monitor the election, citing concerns over possible violence, intimidation and disruption of the democratic process.

His latest alarm specifically focused on the recording and transmission of polling-unit results, urging voters and party supporters to insist that the results be entered on Form EC8A and uploaded to IReV.

Davido’s allegation that some POs may delay entering results until collation centres further fuels concerns about the transparency of the electoral process.
