Osun governorship election dominates headlines Saturday morning as the APC and Accord Party accuse each other of widespread vote-buying, with agents reportedly offering voters between N10,000 and N20,000.
This is as Afrobeats star Davido claims soldiers are trying to block him from entering Osun State on election day.
Also in politics, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has dragged President Bola Tinubu to the Federal High Court in Abuja and a petition has been submitted to the European Commission over alleged forged INEC documents.
Meanwhile, a court has also remanded a former NBA chairman in DSS custody.

Osun poll: APC, Accord wage N20,000-per-vote war
The All Progressives Congress and Accord Party have been accused of engaging in vote-buying across Osun State ahead of today’s governorship election, with agents offering voters between N10,000 and N20,000.
The inducement, which also includes food items, reportedly began days before the poll, with some beneficiaries asked to swear oaths of allegiance. Police have warned against the practice, while soldiers have been deployed amid reports of killings and rising tension.

Tinubu dragged to court, EU over INEC documents
Abubakar has sued President Tinubu at the Federal High Court in Abuja, seeking his disqualification from the 2027 presidential election over an alleged forged NYSC certificate submitted to INEC.

Court remands ex-NBA chairman in DSS custody
The Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday ordered that Gabriel Nkup Tsenyen, a former Chairman of the NBA Shendam branch and APC chieftain in Plateau State, be remanded in DSS custody.
The order came pending a decision on a fresh arraignment over allegations of cyberstalking and incitement.

Afrobeats star Davido, a nephew of Governor Ademola Adeleke and active campaigner for his uncle, claimed on X that soldiers are attempting to prevent him from entering Osun State on election day.
