Labour Party youth leaders propose backing Tinubu for 2027

Youth leaders of the Labour Party (LP) have initiated discussions regarding a potential political realignment with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

The proposal emerged following a virtual meeting held on October 2, 2026, which included the Labour Party National Youth Leader, Prince Kennedy Ahanotu, alongside five national zonal youth leaders and 32 state youth leaders.

The group is exploring a collaborative framework with established pro-Tinubu entities, including the Renewed Hope Movement, the City Boy Movement, and various other Tinubu support groups.
