I’ll campaign for Tinubu if he ends insecurity, Bafarawa

Former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa, has stated that he will only support and campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections if the current administration successfully restores peace and ends the prevailing insecurity in the North.

I will vote for Tinubu in 2027 if peace returns to Sokoto and the North, rejecting campaign money.

Bafarawa emphasized that his support is contingent upon the tangible improvement of security conditions in the region, rather than financial incentives or political patronage.
