Fake Agency: I was tested but never betrayed Tinubu’s trust, Gbajabiamila

The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has declared that he has never betrayed the trust of President Bola Tinubu, despite being tested by the recent controversy surrounding the fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).

I have been tested, but I have never betrayed the trust of the President. My loyalty remains absolute, and I have consistently acted in the best interest of this administration and the Nigerian people.

Gbajabiamila made this statement while addressing the ongoing investigations into the activities of the fictitious agency, which had falsely claimed to operate under the authority of the Presidency. He emphasized that his office has been fully transparent and cooperative with all security and anti-graft agencies tasked with uncovering the truth behind the impersonation scandal.

The Chief of Staff reiterated that he had no prior knowledge of the individual behind the fake council, Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, and that all documents purportedly linking his office to the agency were forged. He expressed confidence that the ongoing investigations by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) would ultimately vindicate him and expose those responsible for the fraudulent activities.
