“We hereby notify you and the flying public of an ongoing flight disruption our network today,” the airline said.

“This morning, Flight P47100, operating the Lagos-Enugu route, experienced a bird strike and had to make an air return for safety checks.

“We sincerely empathize with our passengers over the inconvenience caused and appeal for your patience and understanding as we work diligently to minimize disruptions.”

Air Peace assured the public that passenger and crew safety remains its highest priority and reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the highest safety standards.

The airline did not disclose the number of passengers on board but emphasised that all necessary protocols were being followed to resume normal operations as quickly as possible.
