Atiku Accuses Tinubu of Politicising ICC Tribunal Ruling

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu, accusing his administration of attempting to politicize the recent ruling by the International Criminal Court (ICC) tribunal.

The attempt by the current administration to manipulate the narrative surrounding the ICC tribunal’s findings is a desperate move to distract Nigerians from the real issues of governance and accountability.

Atiku argued that the government’s focus on using the tribunal’s decision as a political weapon against the opposition undermines the integrity of international legal processes. He called on the administration to prioritize the welfare of citizens rather than engaging in what he described as a campaign of calumny.

It is unfortunate that instead of addressing the economic hardships facing the nation, the presidency is busy weaponizing judicial and quasi-judicial outcomes to silence dissent.

The former Vice President further urged the public to remain vigilant and not be swayed by what he termed as state-sponsored propaganda aimed at weakening the democratic process ahead of future electoral cycles.
