The nominees are expected to replace some of the executive council members who resigned to contest various elective offices during the primary elections.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Assembly, Zape Upaa, stated this in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The statement read, “The governor, in the letter addressed to the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Alfred Aondoaver Emberga, said the move was intended to strengthen the State Executive Council and inject additional expertise and capacity into the administration.
The nominees include Kuma Aii Yenge, Roy Ashirga Terna, Angwa Egbe Monday, Elizabeth Onma Ogenyi, Solomon Iorpev and Nick Eworo.
The governor requested the House to give the nominees prompt and favourable consideration in accordance with its constitutional responsibility.
