2027: APC Media Group Launches Platform To Support Tinubu’s Re-election
A group of media practitioners aligned with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has launched a national platform to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group, known as the APC National Stakeholders Media Support Group (APC-NSMSG), was unveiled in Abuja, where it also established its secretariat.
The group aims to counter what it described as fake news and misinformation about Tinubu and the party.
For too long, we have allowed the opposition to dominate the social media space with fake news, propaganda and deliberate misinformation against President Tinubu and our great party. The APC-NSMSG is here to put an end to that.
Adam said the group’s activities would focus on countering false information, publicising the administration’s achievements under the Renewed Hope Agenda and extending its message to the grassroots.
Adam also disclosed that the group had developed a short-term action plan, including the establishment of a central command centre to disseminate daily talking points and a rapid-response team to address misinformation within one hour.
He said the plan also included a grassroots network to take the party’s message to local radio stations and community newspapers across the states and the FCT.
According to him, the group has applied for recognition and a strategic partnership with the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) and other party stakeholders.
