Ex-Obidient Coordinator: Tinubu Campaign Strategy

Adesina Fagbenro-Byron, a former director of operations at the Obidient Movement, has officially led a group of former supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election to endorse President Bola Tinubu for a second term.

The group, which has adopted the name “Batified Obidients,” announced its decision to align with the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform during a formal launch event.

Fabian Chukwudoruo, the group’s deputy national coordinator and former head of logistics for the Obi/Datti presidential campaign council, addressed journalists at the event. In his address, he explained that the group’s decision followed deep reflection on the current political landscape.

Chukwudoruo emphasized that while the members were previously committed to the Obidient movement, they have now chosen to support President Tinubu’s political platform for the 2027 general election.
