Oyebamiji said the electoral process had so far been peaceful and orderly, while commending officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission for their professional conduct during the voting exercise.
“The voters’ turnout is quite impressive. The INEC officials are conducting themselves professionally. There are police officers around,” she said, adding that the presence of police officers had helped maintain order during voting.
“I think the process is good so far. The expectation is that Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji will carry the day,” she said, expressing confidence in the candidate’s prospects at the polls.
