A devastating fire tore through Bukar village in the Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State on Friday evening,, leaving widespread destruction in its wake.
The blaze, reportedly sparked by a cooking fire, spread rapidly due to strong winds, consuming homes, crops, and livestock.
Villagers struggled to contain the flames as thick smoke and intense heat forced many to flee, abandoning their belongings in the chaos.
Fortunately, the swift intervention of the Nigerian military helped curb the fire’s spread, providing support and saving numerous lives.
