According to Nansel, preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects, armed with a locally fabricated firearm, attacked the victim at about 1 a.m. on Saturday in the Foundation Area, behind the Federal Polytechnic Staff School.
He noted that upon receiving information about the incident, police operatives trailed and arrested the suspects, adding that the firearm allegedly used in the operation was recovered.

He concluded that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Shetima Jauro Mohammed, assured residents of the command’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful and secure Yuletide season.
