The National Institute of Transport Technology trains in transportation leading to award of certificates.
The money spent on clearing shrubs and unblocking blocked drainages, is the equivalent of what the government used to erect 32 solar powered boreholes.
The Nigerian government had paid N5.6million for two solar powered powered boreholes.
The money will also be enough to ensure construction of UBEC junior secondary/vocational school with borehole, furnishing and provision of phone repairs and electrical wiring equipment.
This was because the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) paid N61.3million for the purpose earlier this year.
The money can also be used for payment for construction of 1no 3classroom block with store & conventional toilets.
The government awarded contracts for this at rate of N42.3million earlier this year.
The development came amid calls for the prudent management of government resources.
It also comes at a time when the country is lamenting about poor resources and insufficient revenue to carry out key developmental programmes in the country.
The country suffers from developmental challenges such as poor education, poor access to healthcare and water facilities.
