Kora, one of Africa’s payment infrastructure companies, is set to host its flagship event, Sundown Sessions 2025, bringing together investors, innovators and industry leaders to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence across Africa.
Scheduled for November 8, 2025 in Lagos, the summit carries the theme ‘AI in Africa: Scaling Beyond the Hype’, focusing on practical applications, investment opportunities and innovation in business and the creative economy.
The free-to-attend event is expected to attract participants from across the continent’s tech, fintech and creative sectors.
The programme will examine how AI is reshaping business models in Africa, highlighting operational shifts, emerging challenges and strategies businesses can adopt to remain competitive.
It will also provide insights into which AI use cases are attracting investor attention and which startup ideas are most likely to secure funding. A fireside chat will explore how AI is transforming Africa’s creative industries, redefining content creation and opening new pathways for monetisation and innovation.
Confirmed speakers include some of Africa’s most influential figures in technology and investment, such as the co-founder and CEO of Piggyvest, Somtochukwu Ifezue; the CEO and Creative Director of I.N Official Ltd, Ifeanyi Nwune; the CEO of Quidax, Buchi Okoro; the Founding Partner of Future Africa, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji; the investor accelerator venture fellow at Dream VC, Leslie Onwu; and the General Partner at Norrsken, Lexi Novitske, among others.
