Not fewer than six first-class graduating students of KolaDaisi University have been offered employment by the Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ChamsCorp Plc, Demola Aladekomo.

According to the Registrar of the University, Mr Haruna Adetu, the employment opportunity was offered on Thursday, 6 October 2025, during the 5th convocation ceremony of the university.

Aladekomo, who delivered the Commencement Lecture titled “Run Your Own Race” at Agbeke Memorial Hall as part of the activities marking the convocation ceremony, called on the graduands to remain focused and make their own contributions to humanity by staying true to their lane and perfecting their craft to achieve excellence in whatever they do in the future.

Commending the effort and vision of the founder of the university, Sir Aladekomo, who is also the Executive Chairman of SmartCity Plc, advised the staff of the university to use their unique gifts to teach, build, and empower people in vulnerable positions.

He emphasised that focus is the discipline that turns dreams into reality and cautioned them to shun distractions associated with social media: “If a rose smells better than tomatoes, it doesn’t mean the rose can make better stew.” He therefore called on the graduands to act and do things exceptionally well.

Commending the effort and vision of the founder of the university, Chief Kola Daisi, CON, Aladekomo again advised the staff to use their unique gifts to teach, build, and empower people in vulnerable positions.

The opportunity is aimed at supporting KolaDaisi University’s commitment to academic excellence and grooming future leaders for national and global relevance.
