Bandits launched a deadly attack on Gatawa community in Sabon-Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Saturday night, leaving several residents dead and others injured.
Local sources also reported that an unspecified number of people were abducted during the invasion.

Two people including the imam who was leading the prayer were confirmed dead.
