Did You See Him Destroying The Party? Sowunmi Reveals Tinubu’s Sacrifices For APC Coalition

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Segun Sowunmi, has weighed in on the internal dynamics of the All Progressives Congress (APC), highlighting the significant sacrifices made by President Bola Tinubu to sustain the party’s coalition.

Speaking during a recent interview, Sowunmi addressed concerns regarding the stability of the ruling party, suggesting that President Tinubu has had to navigate complex internal pressures to keep the APC united.

Did you see him destroying the party? He has been the one holding it together through immense personal and political sacrifice. The coalition that brought this government to power is not as seamless as people think, and Tinubu has had to make difficult choices to ensure the party does not disintegrate.

Sowunmi noted that while critics often point to internal friction within the APC, the President’s role in managing the diverse interests of the party’s stakeholders has been pivotal to its continued existence.

He further emphasized that the political landscape remains challenging, but argued that Tinubu’s commitment to the coalition remains a defining feature of his administration’s survival strategy.
