According to Iniedu, Disu returned to his first police station, where he recalled his early days in the Nigeria Police Force.
โ€œFrom Ago Iwoye to Force HQ. From DPO to IGP.
IGP Olatunji Disu psc (+), NPM @TunjiDisu1 just walked back into his very first station, Ago Iwoye Division, Ogun State, decades after it all began.
โ€œHe stood in his old office.
He walked his former farm.
He stepped through the same residence where a young officer once dreamed of greatness. IG didnโ€™t ban recording police, only opposes misuse for skits โ€” Media officer SANs counter IG, say Nigerians have right to record officers Child traffickersโ€™ new trick exposed
โ€œThen he dropped a question that hit different:
โ€œCan you visit where you worked before?โ€
โ€œThis wasnโ€™t nostalgia. This was an operational pilgrimage. A reminder that every giant was once a beginner. Every throne has a starting point.

โ€œThe journey of a thousand miles doesnโ€™t begin with a step. It began at Ago-Iwoye.โ€
Speaking in the video, Disu described the return to the station as an emotional experience, recalling that it was where he first developed his leadership skills as a DPO.
โ€œItโ€™s a very emotional one. This is my first police station. This is where I learned to be a DPO.
โ€œThis is the first time I was able to test my leadership ability. I remember when I was posted here. Iโ€™ve never been a DPO before.
โ€œItโ€™s emotional being here. Iโ€™ve just gone around to see my room. Iโ€™ve entered the office and Iโ€™ve looked around.
โ€œIโ€™m going to go around the streets. I know thereโ€™s an old woman in front of the police station. She used to sell things.
โ€œShe rears goats. The goats always come into our station. I remember Baba Aladji.
โ€œAladji was very old. I always say this. For everybody, not only police officers.
โ€œWhere you work, do well. The question is, can you go back to where you worked before?โ€
