A gospel artiste, Testimony Jaga, through his annual outreach of the Street Gospel Movement of the Love World Film and Arts Department, has touched lives in the streets of Alagbado, Lagos.
In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, the singer stated that the 24-hour programme tagged, ‘One Jesus, One Church, Hallelujah’ brought spiritual, emotional and physical healing to the community.
He said, “I was rejected and lost all hope, but one day on this same field, I encountered Jesus Christ through flyers and the help of my spiritual father, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and I became born again.
“For all who want to be like me, all they need is to turn back to God, receive salvation in Jesus Christ, share love, tolerate others and have a heart of giving. That’s what God needs from us.
“I am a soul winner, musician and Christian. I don’t discriminate. Some Christians won’t associate with street guys, but Jesus is the best example for all Christians. That’s why I call myself an evangelist for bad boys and girls. There’s no discrimination in heaven; we will all stand as believers in the presence of God.”
The event featured an array of impactful activities, including a medical outreach which provided free treatment and medication to elderly residents, while children enjoyed toys, gifts and Bibles.
The statement added that the programme also included live performances, deliverance sessions and testimonies, and salvation, touching the lives of hundreds.
Prominent guests at the event include Esther Igbekele, Akpororo, Dare Justified, Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, Senior Prophet Adetuberu, Pastor Awokemi Awofadeju, Pastor Sholayinka Agboola, KMK Abiola, Dre-Stick, Tosin Also, DJ Maxwell and Bishop Chikancy, among others.
